A great example of ends justifies means… “Zero Dark Thirty” opens with footage of the horrific 9/11 attacks, it moves on to a graphic and lengthy depictions of torture… “Ammar”, the detainee, is subjected to harsh inquisition style interrogation techniques like waterboarding, stress positions, sleep deprivation, and being confined in a small box… Responding to this torture, he divulges the name of the courier who ultimately leads the CIA to bin Laden’s location and assassination…
It may end up being a blockbuster, but “Based on first-hand accounts of actual events” is inaccurate and thoroughly misleading….
