Mission Accomplished?A great example of ends justifies means… “Zero Dark Thirtyopens with footage of the horrific 9/11 attacks, it moves on to a graphic and lengthy depictions of torture… “Ammar”, the detainee, is subjected to harsh inquisition style interrogation techniques like waterboarding, stress positions, sleep deprivation, and being confined in a small box… Responding to this torture, he divulges the name of the courier who ultimately leads the CIA to bin Laden’s location and assassination…

It may end up being a blockbuster, but “Based on first-hand accounts of actual events” is inaccurate and thoroughly misleading….

Just like Saddam Hussein’s kingdom of fear and numerous ties to 911… The average American knows nothing, other than what White House and CIA officials have said about the events leading up to the Osama Bin Laden raid, the raid itself, the subsequent deaths of navy seals in on the raid and cover ups involved.…

While all sides of the Federal Government are coming together against the people on issues like upholding the constitution, extending warrant-less wiretapping, constant surveillance, TARP banker bailouts, NDAA 2012, no accountability for stolen elections and unending global warfare at taxpayer expense… The pragmatic center which houses the likes of Brennan, Panetta, Clinton, and the Bush clan are teaming up with Hollywood elites to push for gun “control” in order to make us “safer”…

“Now is the time to take action to end senseless violence in America!”

Meanwhile, films full of admitted CIA propaganda justifying horrific torture and gratuitous desensitizing gun violence is the best Hollywood has to offer a country sick of mass shootings in theaters, malls and elementary schools, undeclared out of control wars, random drone strikes killing children, depleted uranium poisoning of troops and civilians, TSA harassment, permanent random checkpoints, and on, and on…And on…

CIA officials and their neo conservative allies in the GOP have called for another round of disingenuous investigations into the “outrageous” leaking of classified information to filmmakers… Yet, at the very same time, “Dark Thirty” is purely an admitted CIA Mockingbird creation made in collusion with the CIA and the White House… It is pure propaganda which rationalizes torture by presenting it as a reasonable reaction to 9/11… It continues the mythology that Osama bin Laden planned 9/11 even though there is absolutely no evidence to prove that… It presents almost every Muslim in the film as some kind of monster who is preoccupied with killing the heroic CIA agents who are busy torturing people for truth and justice and the American way of life… “Zero Dark Thirty” is designed to promote violence toward anyone who stands in the way of our “national interests” in Africa or the Middle East or anywhere else the White House determines we need to torture insurgents who don’t like the agenda they have planned for them…

“This was one of the biggest stories or historic events of American history… Of course we’re going to be talking about it, and working with the media to get it out there.”

Administration officials bristle at the suggestions that their efforts are meant to “exploit” the killing of Bin Laden but how to package the Bin Laden story has been a preoccupation with the Obama White House, the Pentagon, and the CIA… The White House’s first draft put President Obama at the center of the action… Then the Navy Seals claimed their turf with a piece in The New Yorker, followed by No Easy Day a year later… Zero Dark Thirty is the CIA’s turn to pat themselves on the back for a job well done….

In reality, the CIA officials engaged in torture were so ashamed that they destroyed actual tapes and evidence documenting the torture sessions… They were fearful that their real-life behavior could not stand up under public scrutiny… Now Zero Dark Thirty has done the agency a huge public service providing them with their own Top Gun; a film military officials consider one of the most successful recruitment vehicles of all time….

Senators are calling for investigations into whether filmmakers were “misled” by CIA officials… At the same time, the acting CIA director issued a press release saying the film “departs from reality.” One of the architects of the torture program, former CIA official Jose Rodriguez, offered his critique of the movie—the CIA was never that brutal, he claimed in the Washington Post:

“Instead of a large bucket, small plastic water bottles were used on the three men, who were on medical gurneys.”

Rodriguez also said they never useddog collars“….

Zero Dark Thirty bills itself as a modern history lesson as the film shows us, those who tortured, and supported torture, got away with it… Mocking those who protested America’s illegal regime of secret prisons, torture, and abuse…

All this while an early Oscar favorite, a film that received a 10 minute standing ovation at the Toronto Film Festival, garnered not one single Oscar nomination… Its message was simple and completely ignored:

“By each crime and every kindness we birth our future”

As Americans laugh, weep, and rage upon command… Their own Zero Dark Thirty approaches….
